- Shubrook Bros. Enterprises
Close friends of SBR, brothers Paul & Martin Shubrook, head up Shubrook Bros. Enterprises – an independent production house specializing in a broad range of creative mediums, including publishing & animation (from CG to stop-motion). Credits from the core team include 'Wallace & Gromit' and 'The Corpse Bride'. Check out their amazing body of work so far.
- Paul Miro
The ridiculously versatile and uber-talented songwriting driving force behind Apes Pigs & Spacemen – Paul Miro – lent his vocals to four songs on the brand new Cellarscape album 'Animation, Suspension', which we are still thrilled about every time we hear them kick in on the record.
Mr Miro can seemingly turn his hand to crushing metal, delicate trip-hop, serene country-fied acoustics, and film music, so obviously he's very welcome in the SBR camp.
Make today a Miro day and go and check out his music, especially his brilliant new solo album called 'B.O.A.T.S.' which is on iTunes now...- Martin Eden – 'The O Men'/'Spandex' comic auteur
Martin Eden is the creator/writer/artist of self-published supersoap comic 'The O Men', which he began around 10 years ago, and which has gained a loyal following, award nominations and great reviews.
As a big O Men fan, SBR's Paul Terry approached Martin about illustrating the artwork for the first Cellarscape EP ('Copilot'), a request to wish Martin agreed to, explaining that this would be his first piece of CD art.
In Martin's own words, "despite being intimidated by the brief – I can’t draw birds, water, telegraph poles or snow..." he completely nailed it. Martin lives in South London where he spends most of his time with The O Men, drawing comics, reading comics, listening to angsty female singers, playing really easy computer games and watching Deal or No Deal or crappy reality TV.
Check out his fantastic forthcoming new comic project, Spandex too.- The Redlands Palomino Company
TRPC are the freshest and hottest blend of country, rock'n'roll and americana blues around. The fusion of Hannah Elton-Wall's angelic vocals and her husband Alex's gravelier voice make for a unique and enthralling dual-vocal style. The Palomino's slide-guitar-driven melodies will have you toe-tapping and desperate to ride a wild horse through the waves in seconds.
- Martha Betzer
Martha Betzer is an incredibly gifted singer/songwriter, combining emotional piano and guitar parts with stunning vocals. Check out the songs on her MySpace.
SBR's Paul Terry played guitar and backing vocals on two songs from her debut EP, 'Mistaken' and 'I Got Caught', and first of which can be heard on her MySpace. Spread the word about this very talented Danish singer/songwriter.- Ben Templesmith
Comic writer/artist extraordinaire, BT is one of the most innovative creative forces in the comic/graphic arts industry today. With such hits as '30 Days of Night' , 'Fell', 'Singularity 7' and smash hit 'Wormwood: Gentleman Corpse' to his name, BT is always evolving his visceral style to new evocative, intense, and often comedic heights.

- Devin Townsend / Hevy Devy Records
HDR was created by multi-talented musician Devin Townsend as a means to get his music out there whist maintaining complete independence. It's this ethos that inspired Paul Terry's plan for SkyBabyRecords, and in simple terms, Dev has been one of Paul Terry's musical heroes since he first discovered the white noise delights of Dev's first Strapping Young Lad album in 1995.
Since that genre-shattering metal album, Dev has continued to write and release albums on a prolific and epic scale, with gentle offerings such as Hummer through to epic sagas like Ocean Machine and his latest, Ki.
If you appreciate fantastic music, discover Devin's unique and rewarding world right now. Long may he reign in Metal and beyond...- Ipecac Recordings
In a similar vein to Devin Townsend, the ever-vital Mike Patton (former Faith No More frontman and ‘parent’ of such incredible musical projects as – amongst others – Fantômas, Mr. Bungle and Peeping Tom) is another huge musical influence on SBR’s Paul Terry.
Ipecac Recordings is the brainchild of Mr. Patton and Greg Werckman (former label manager for the legendary punk label, Alternative Tentacles). The label is home to Mike Patton’s eclectic musical collaborations as well as a place where bands we admire will have the freedom to release music they might not be able to, or want to, release on other labels. If you haven’t already, Ipecac yourself up, people…
